Malaysia's Maxis has launched a mobile social networking application that provides a single access to Facebook, Twitter and Friendster. Maxis had previously launched the Friendster Alert service in May, allowing subscribers to receive updates on their Friendster account via SMS.
South Africa's Vodacom has announced a 40% cut on the subscription charge of its Voicemail2SMS service. From next month, Vodacom customers will be able to receive their voice messages via SMS for R35 per month.
