Key features include free calls in Australia between services on the same account, one rate for both video and voice calls, per second charging, and ability for users on the same account to share any unused credit across their services.

Uzbekistan's MTS has warned its customers that due to network upgrades, its customers may suffer temporary communications deterioration in the area of Tashkent city and Tashkent province during the rest of this week.

O2 UK has announced that charities will gain an additional 10p per pound donated via Premium Rate SMS following changes in sales tax (VAT) regulations. VAT previously charged on the donation is now passed directly to the charity after the government decided  that VAT is not payable on charity donations made via text message.
