Radcom Wins Network Monitoring Contract in Asia-Pacific
Radcom has announced that it has won a contract from an unnamed Asia-Pacific company for its Omni-Q service assurance solution to monitor their mobile broadband and data services.
This operator will be deploying Radcom's cellular data system on their UMTS network interfaces in order to monitor and maintain service quality. One of Radcom's cellular data system advantages was its ability to efficiently monitor the extremely high data rates, measured in gigabits per second, of this service provider's mobile data network.
Omni-Q not only monitors all network layers and IP based services but also applies specialized intelligence to provide visibility into real customer experience, particularly for mobile broadband web-based services.
"The rapidly expanding mobile data services of this company have presented Radcom with an excellent opportunity to showcase Omni-Q's unique ability to ensure the highest level of service quality," said Yoram Sherman, Radcom's VP Sales, Asia-Pacific. "We are very pleased that this leading Asia-Pacific Service Provider has recognized the outstanding value built into this system and will be able to utilize it to enhance the quality of data services for their subscribers.
