Virgin Mobile UK to Use Yahoo Search Portal

Internet search portal, Yahoo! has secured a deal to provide mobile search services for the UK based Virgin Mobile. The service will be launched on the MVNO from next week (8th Dec). Yahoo! and Virgin Media also plan to deliver mobile sponsored search results and contextually served sponsored listings within the Virgin Media mobile portal early 2009.

Yahoo! oneSearch will also display relevant ringtones, wallpapers, games and other content within search results.
