Unlimited Data Tariff from Digicel Barbados

Digicel Barbados has launched an unlimited data tariff for its contract subscribers. The Unlimited Data Plan will allow post-paid customers to pay a flat rate of $34.99 monthly, for data usage, instead of on a per kilo bit basis.

Robert Chase, DigicelĂ's head of marketing, explained that through the new package, post-paid customers with GPRS and EDGE capable handsets can now send and receive as much data as they wish to each month.

He also noted that this new plan joins an extensive list of post-paid plans available from Digicel, which are designed to cater to the individual and specific requirements of customers.

“As mobile telecommunications technology rapidly reaches new levels, this new plan is ideal for our customers who utilize the technical data features of modern handsets as it makes it easy for them to fully benefit from their GPRS or EDGE service.

“This new plan reaffirms our commitment to ensuring that our customers benefit from exciting, first-to-market technology innovations, as well as superior service, products and customer care," Chase added.
